New Facility – Nies/Artcraft Fulfillment Company has moved to a 50,000 square foot facility centrally located in the St. Louis metropolitan area. Nies/Artcraft Fulfillment provides Inventory management, online ordering, pick-pack-ship services, kit engineering and assembly for a wide range of customers nationwide.

JANUARY 2007

Award – A 2006 Management Plus Award has been awarded to Nies/Artcraft Companies for management excellence. Nies/Artcraft has previously won eight Management Plus Awards, including two Gold Awards

DECEMBER 2006

Digital Press Installation – An HP Indigo Press 5000 has been installed at our Valcour facility. This seven-color press is capable of producing high definition images on a wide range of paper stocks with weights from 45 to 130 lbs. This will allow us to fill the need for short run, on-demand printing that includes brochures, flyers, postcards, catalogs, etc.

JULY 2006

A.I.B. Certification– Our Valcour Printing facility has again been certified by A.I.B. (American Institute of Baking) with the ranking of superior. This is the highest level given. Certification allows for the production of coupons that come in contact with food.

FEBRUARY 2006

Acquisition – Nies/Artcraft Companies was acquired by Consolidated Graphics, Inc. headquartered in Houston, Texas. Consolidated Graphics is the nation’s leading commercial sheetfed, web and digital printing company. Through its network of 70 printing companies in 26 states the Company produces printed materials for a broad customer base that includes many of the most recognized companies in the country. JANUARY 2006

Award – Nies/Artcraft Companies received a Gold Award for management excellence in the National Association for Printing Leadership (NAPL) 2005 Management Plus Award. This award is based on a company’s overall management performance as compared to professional and industry standards. Nies/Artcraft is the only company to receive a Gold Award in the category of over $25 million in sales from the industries firms that participated in competition, which is open to all graphic arts organizations nationwide.

Impression Label Acquired – Nies/Artcraft Companies has acquired Impression Label Company which is located in the St. Louis metro area. Impression Label is a manufacturer of a flexo printed labels on a wide variety of substrates for industries that include food, beverage, pharmaceutical and automotive.
